Dr. Williams has years of experience in the diagnosis and treatment of dementing illnesses such Alzheimer's disease as well as Parkinson's disease, stroke, traumatic brain injuries, MS and a wide range of other neurological and psychological conditions. He also has specialized training and experience in the treatment of insomnia. His published research has been focused on the development of neuropsychological measures for diagnosing and assessing impairment in dementing illnesses. More recently, publications and professional presentations have focused on the cognitive changes associated with multiple sclerosis. His practice also involves forensic neuropsychology leading to work with attorneys and patients in personal injury cases that result in changes in abilities or other matters where issues pertaining to competency, responsibility, and judgement are in question. He supervises our staff of 6 doctoral level Neuropsychologists, 3 psychometrists, one mental health counselor and a host of support staff. Dr. Kachmann received his M.D. from Indiana University and completed his residency at Georgetown University, Washington, D.C. Dr. Kachmann specializes in neurosurgery. Dr. Kachmann is the Founder of the Kachmann Behavioral Foundation and co-founder of the 
Dr. Canavati attended American University, Beirut, Lebanon, where he acquired his M.D. He completed residencies at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN, and Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, Maryland, and the University of California, San Francisco. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS). Dr. Canavati specializes in neurosurgery.
Dr. Dozier received his M.D. from the University of Cincinnati and completed his residency at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN. He completed fellowships in pediatric neurosurgery at Children's Hospital, New South Wales, Australia and in trauma neurosurgery at St. Paul Medical Center, St. Paul, MN. Dr. Dozier is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and specializes in neurosurgery.
Dr. Kachmann received his M.D. from Indiana University, Indianapolis, IN. He completed his internship at Case Western Reserve Hospital, Cleveland, OH. Dr. Kachmann completed his residencies at the University of Kansas Medical Center, and at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA. In addition he completed a fellowship in neurosurgery at New York University Hospital, New York, NY. Dr. Kachmann specializes in neurosurgery with emphasis on complex spine disorders including instrumentation, craniofacial reconstruction, pituitary disorders and brain tumors.
Dr. Munz received his M.D. from McGill University in Montreal, Canada, and completed his residency at Montreal Neurological Institute. Dr. Munz is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS). He received fellowships in neurosurgery at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN, and functional stereotactic neurosurgery at the University of Toronto. Dr. Munz specializes in movement disorders and functional stereotactic neurosurgery.
Dr. Young completed his medical training at Cornell University Medical College, New York, New York. His neurosurgical residency was accomplished at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia. In addition, Dr. Young completed a general surgery residency at Georgetown University Hospital, Washington, DC. In addition, Dr. Young completed a fellowship in spinal surgery at NYU Medical Center.
Dr. Phuong received his medical degree from the University of California at Irvine following an undergraduate degree from California State University at Los Angeles. Dr. Phuong completed his neurosurgery residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. In addition, he completed a fellowship in molecular medicine at Mayo.
Dr. Ottinger received his M.D. from Indiana University. He completed his residency at Indiana University and Methodist Hospital, both in Indianapolis. Dr. Ottinger specializes in pediatric neurology.
Dr. Stevens received his M.D. from Indiana University, Indianapolis, IN, and completed his residency at Indiana University, Indianapolis. He specializes in neurology and sleep disorders.
Dr. Bhat received his M.D. from the University of Bombay, Bombay, India. He completed residencies at St. Louis University, St. Louis, MO, and BYL Nair Hospital, Bombay, India, and at Hurley Medical Center, Flint, MI. He specializes in neurology.
Dr. Banas received a masters of biomedical engineering degree from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, and then pursued his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati. He completed his residency at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. He specializes in neurology with special interests in spasticity and movement disorders.
Dr. Chang received his Ph.D. and his M.D. from the University of Illinois. He interned and completed his residency at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN. He specializes in neurology.
Dr. Later received his M.D. from Rush Medical College, Chicago and completed his residency at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke's Medical Center. Dr. Later received a fellowship at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke's Medical Center and specializes in neurology and neuromuscular disorders.
Dr. Curfman received his medical degree from Indiana University. He received a fellowship in neuromuscular studies at Indiana University, Indianapolis, IN. He specializes in adult neurology and neuromuscular disorders and is listed in the 1999 Best Doctors In America for clinical ability.
Dr. Gupta received his medical training at MP Shah Medical College in Jamnagar, India. His residency in neurology was accomplished at the Medical College of Ohio, Toledo, Ohio. Dr. Gupta furthered his professional training after his residency by completing dual fellowships in electroencephalography/ epilepsy and in multiple sclerosis/ neuro immunology, both at the Medical College of Ohio. Dr. Gupta completed fellowship training in multiple sclerosis and neuro immunology at the National Institute of Health in Bethesda, Maryland.
Dr. Khan received her M.D. from Jawaharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medicine, Madras University, Pondicherry, India. Her residency in pediatrics was accomplished at New York University Medical Center, in New York City. In addition she completed a residency in pediatric neurology at NYU Medical Center. Dr. Khan continued her medical education with a fellowship in neurophysiology at Children's Hospital of Boston. Dr. Khan is board certified in pediatric neurology as well as in sleep medicine. She also sub-specializes in epileptic disorders.
Dr. Al Hamda received his MD degree from Damascus University Medical School, Damascus Syria. He completed a Pediatric Residency at St. Joseph Hospital Medical Center, Patterson, New Jersey. He also completed a Pediatric Neurology Fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. Dr. Al Hamda comes to Fort Wayne Neuro from the University of Tennessee, Health Science Center, Memphis, where he was Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and Director of the Headache Clinic. Dr. Al Hamda's special interests are Epilepsy, Headache, Behavioral Disorders (ADHD and Autism) Neuro-metabolic and Muscular Disorders.
Ms. Springer serves as nurse practitioner in neurology, building upon her extensive background as a registered nurse with FWNC focusing on rehabilitation patients. Her undergraduate degree was earned at Ball State University, Muncie, Indiana. Ms. Springer completed a masters degree in nursing and is certified as a nurse practitioner.
Ms. Sible serves as nurse practitioner in neurology, building upon her background as a registered nurse with focusing on rehabilitation patients. Her undergraduate degree in Nursing was earned at Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana. Ms. Sible completed a masters degree in nursing and is a family nurse practitioner.
Ms. Gillig serves as a nurse practitioner in Neurology focusing on acute care hospital inpatients. She has worked for FWNC as a physician extender for many years assisting in all phases of inpatient care. Ms. Gillig received her undergraduate from Ball State University, Muncie, Indiana. Ms. Gillig received her master's degree from Indiana Wesleyan University and is a certified nurse practitioner.
Dr. Lutz received his medical degree from the Brody School of Medicine in Greenville, North Carolina. His undergraduate degree was earned from North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina. Dr. Lutz finished his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the Brody School of Medicine. In addition, he completed postgraduate work at the Mayo Graduate School of Medicine in Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. Lutz is board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation.
Ms. Born serves as physician assistant in neurosurgery. Her undergraduate degree was earned in Public Health at Arcadia University in Glenside, Pennsylvania. Ms. Born completed her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Arcadia University in Glenside, Pennsylvania. She is board-certified as a physician assistant.
Ms. Christlieb serves as physician assistant in neurosurgery. Her undergraduate degree was earned in Biology at University of St. Francis in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Ms. Christlieb completed her Physician Assistant Studies at Butler University/Clarian Health in Indianapolis, Indiana. She is board-certified as a physician assistant.
Dr. Ron Williams has been a part of the professional staff at Fort Wayne Neurological Center since 1991. He is, currently, the Director of the Neuropsychology Department. His Doctoral Degree was conferred by the Neuropsychology Program at Ball State University. He holds a Masters Degree in Geropsychology from the University of Notre Dame and his undergraduate degrees were in psychology and chemistry from Indiana University Bloomington. He is board certified in Neuropsychology by the American Board of Professional Neuropsychology (ABPN)
Dr. Osborne received her doctorate from Ball State University in School and Counseling Psychology. She specializes in the management of chronic pain, including back pain, headaches, neuropathy, and other medical conditions. She has additional expertise in biofeedback and relaxation techniques and in the diagnosis and management of depression, anxiety, panic disorders, and other adjustment issues secondary to medical conditions.
Dr. Goff received her doctorate from Ball State University with a Neuropsychology specialty. She focuses on neuropsychological assessments of dementia, traumatic brain injury and stroke. The intensive work with stroke patients led to the founding of the Stroke Support Group in 1993. She has expertise in psychotherapy for those with chronic illness and disabling conditions. She has been named as the Living Donor Advocate working with kidney donors who are participating in the Kidney Donor program through Lutheran Hospital. She provides inpatient psychological and neuropsychological services at the Rehabilitation Hospital of Fort Wayne, Lutheran Hospital and the Generations Mental Health Services for Older Adults. Experienced in providing neuropsychological services to those involved in Workers Compensation injuries, she also provides Independent Medical (Psychological and Neuropsychological) Evaluations. Additionally, she is a provider of psychological assessments required prior to bariatric surgery.
Dr. Dodzik received his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology with specializations in Neuropsychology and Geropsychology from the Florida School of Professional Psychology in 2000. His residency and fellowship were in Pediatric Neuropsychology. He is the Associate Department Chair and Associate Professor of Clinical Psychology at the Illinois School of Professional Psychology-Chicago Northwest. Dr. Dodzik specializes in pediatric neuropsychological assessment and sleep medicine. He is Board Certified in Pediatric and Adult Neuropsychology through the American Board of Pediatric Neuropsychology and the American Board of Professional Neuropsychology.
Dr. Tasha Williams completed her doctorate in School Psychology at Ball State University with specializations in Neuropsychology and Counseling Psychology in 2005. She completed her pre-doctoral internship and Residency at Fort Wayne Neurological Center and continues to work there full-time with a wide variety of patients from pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations. She has a particular interest in working with children under the age of five. Dr. Williams has done presentations focused on Alzheimer's disease and Autism Spectrum Disorders for various community groups. She also has served on the Advisory Board for A Day Away Adult Daycare. Dr. Williams has been involved in research focused on academic achievement of students in charter schools, Alzheimer's disease and related dementias, and assessment and instruction of high achieving and gifted children. Her research in the assessment of high achieving and gifted children was presented at the 2007 American Psychological Association meeting as a part of a symposium. Dr. Williams is a member of the National Academy of Neuropsychology and the American Psychological Association. Outside of her work with Fort Wayne Neurology, she has interests in the areas of conflict resolution and issues of diversity. She co-leads diversity workshops for college students and other organizations.
Dr. Brinkman received his doctorate in Psychology from Ball State University with a specialization in Neuropsychology. He completed his pre-doctoral internship and residency at Midwest Neurology in Danville, Indiana. At Midwest Neurology he conducted rotations in both pediatric and adult neuropsychology. After his fellowship was completed, Dr. Brinkman began working with older adults as a Neuropsychologist for the GeroPsych Institute at the Madison Center in South Bend, Indiana. He continues to work with older adults and he provides inpatient neuropsychological services at Lutheran Hospital and St. Joseph Hospital. Dr. Brinkman is also an Assistant Professor of Psychology and Counseling at the University of Saint Francis in Fort Wayne Indiana. Dr. Brinkman is a member of the American Psychological Association, National Academy of Neuropsychology, and the International Neuropsychological Society.
